How many stops, how long, and where to change

Pick the station where you get on and the one where you get off. The planner counts the stops between them, tells you which line to take and where to change, and works out roughly how long the ride takes. It covers all 7 lines in Ankara, 79 stations in total: metro, Başkentray, and cable car.

Stops are counted the way you would count them on board: the stop you get on at is not counted, the one you get off at is. For example, Kızılay to Batıkent on the M1 metro is 11 stops: you don't count Kızılay, you do count Batıkent.

      Good to know

      A single full fare is 40 TL with Başkent Kart. You can change up to twice within 75 minutes of the first tap; each change costs 20 TL on a full card. Changing between metro lines and Ankaray inside the gates costs nothing extra. Bank cards and phones get no transfer discount.

      Times on the M1 metro, M3 metro, M4 metro, Ankaray, Başkentray, and Keçiören cable car are worked out from the distance between stations, so allow a few minutes either way. The other lines use their operators' published times.
